Built differently.
Pick a comparison and see exactly where LazeeFish wins, and where the other guy still has the edge.
Same envelope method.
$5/mo instead of $14.99.
Both apps assign every dollar a job. LazeeFish drops the subscription fee and adds debt/mortgage trackers YNAB charges extra to add.
A budget,
not just a tracker.
Mint showed you what already happened. LazeeFish tells you what's allowed to happen — before you spend.
Envelopes, not
category buckets.
Monarch is a beautiful tracker. LazeeFish is a behavior tool — every envelope hits zero and you know it instantly.
The questions
most people ask first.
How much does LazeeFish cost?
$5/month or $50/year. Every feature is included — bank sync, envelope budgeting, refund auto-match, debt tracking, savings goals, joint household access. Start with a 30-day free trial, no card to start.
Is there a mobile app?
LazeeFish is a progressive web app — open it in your mobile browser and tap "Add to Home Screen" for a full app-like experience. A native iOS and Android app is in development.
What if my bank isn't on Plaid?
Use CSV import. Most banks let you download monthly statements as CSV, and LazeeFish parses them. You can also enter transactions manually.
Is my financial data encrypted?
Yes. All traffic is HTTPS. Plaid access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256. We never see or store your bank password.
